Hello, I am Iona

I am a lazy arty farty person who enjoys sleep, and coffee, not always the best mix, although my usual late nights are coffee free, it is a little strange I suppose. I seem to have an ability to suck in craft and art techniques...which makes starting something complicated as, there are SO many different ways of doing anything...

I work with Camphill Village in the Newton Dee cafe with the villagers and co-workers, which makes it a joy to go to work, and makes EVERY day different. I still have a great interest in the taste of coffee and the art of pouring a perfect caffe latte, I am working towards owning a cafe/bistro of my own, possibly helping give people with disabilities a social status, as I've learned that it becomes hugely important to them, this will take time though, and I'd like a couple of working holidays in South America and Italy first.

I have been to uni, but the less of that we speak, the more happy I shall be... if I felt I was learning something more than (what should be) common knowledge, I would have maybe done alot better... though who knows, not sure that the vague and theory filled Social Sciences was for me.

That is all for the now, my gallery is not as full as it should be and much of the early work is not to a great standard, this will hopfully change in the near future as I will be moving back to the country, where long walks and inspiration will be easilly accessable.
